Isaac Ortiz started his career in the insurance industry when he first became licensed as a property and casualty insurance agent in 2007. Since that time his experience and knowledge of insurance has greatly expanded, and he is now the President and Supervising Broker for Independent Insurance Brokers of California. Michael T. Chulak

Born in Los Angeles, Michael Chulak obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University at Los Angeles and a Juris Doctor from Ventura-Santa Barbara College of Law. He became a California real estate broker in 1971, a general contractor in 1979, and an attorney in 1998. As an attorney, his practice included insurance law. Michael is the founder and one of the owners of Independent Insurance Agents of California. He has been a real estate, property management, homeowner association, and finance instructor at six California colleges including UCLA.

Michael Chulak formerly served as president and CEO of Union America Mortgage and Equity Trust (UMET), a New York Stock Exchange listed Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) that owned, managed, and sold apartment buildings and commercial properties in nineteen states.

Michael Chulak has served as legal counsel for the U.S. Wenzhou Association, the Los Angeles Wenzhou Chamber of Commerce USA, and the Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce. He has also served as Judge Advocate for the Westlake Yacht Club. Michael also served as the President of the Agoura Hills Chamber of Commerce before it was merged into the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce. Michael was also a member of the Magic Castle for more than 25 years.

Michael Chulak has written legal columns for several newspapers and hosted a radio talk show on KVTA AM 1520 and KRLA 840 known as On the Law with Attorney Michael Chulak.

Most importantly, Michael is a member of Atmosphere Church in Westlake Village, California.

 

Tina Chulak
Director of Marketing-San Gabriel Valley

 

Tina Chulak is the Director of Marketing-San Gabriel Valley for Independent Insurance Agents of California and its affiliated companies. Tina speaks Mandarin Chinese, the dialect from her home city of Wenzhou, China, and, of course, English. Tina is Vice-President of the U.S. Wenzhou Association, the Los Angeles Wenzhou Chamber of Commerce USA, and the Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce. Tina is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Conejo Valley Chinese Cultural Association (CCCA) which operates a Chinese language school with over 500 students.
